This is a portfolio for the HTC Flyer (or any tablet) that has an access panel [refer to the 4imprint reference] in the front cover that will give access to a 7 inch tablet (or any other size) without having to open the entire front cover. This will enable easier access while standing or walking to access the calendar or write quick notes via tablet. At the same time, utilizing your own tablet case creating ease of removal. The tablet needs to be accessible while portfolio is fully opened on a desk as well. To do this the front access panel will attach to the front case cover of the tablet (7" flyer tablet or nook) in portrait view with bungee cords or flat elastic bands. When you open the portfolio access panel it will open the cover of the case at the same time allowing quick viewing of the tablet. Next, when you open the entire portfolio you would be able to rotate 90 degrees allowing easy viewing of the tablet in landscape mode [refer to Flyer Portfolio Case PN: 217] utilizing the tablets case stand) next to the notebook for physically handwriting notes. A swivel device needs to be put into the flap where it attaches to the front cover of the tablet case. (I visualize this being a flat panel attached to the quick access panel via swivel mechanism with straps attached to hold the front cover of the tablet case) [refer to the amazon reference] This will enable you to turn the tablet 90 degrees and prop it up on the cases' built-in-stand for easy viewing while at a desk or table.
The back half of the case would be similar to the iPad Full Grain Cowhide Leather Portfolio PN: 78-ipad-3-2-Black, where the divider would hold the notebook and have a folder on the reverse side. The inside rear half of the Portfolio would have a gusseted document pocket with access facing the zipper side.
I envision this case being comfortable, practical, and aesthetically appealing. I would like to hold a folding Bluetooth keyboard just below the HTC Fyer tablet (4" wide x 6 1/2" long x 3/4" deep). I would also like to see two pen pockets and a small pocket for a USB Data Cable.
I expect the overall dimensions to be approximately 14" Long x 10 1/2 to 11" wide x 1 3/4 to 2" deep while in full use.
In order to use this design with any tablet you would only need to make the access panel the appropriate size for the tablet being used, and omit the pocket for keyboard to allow space for the larger tablets. i see that you carry a wide selection of Executive Portfolio binders for the iPad 1 and 2. I'm looking for a similar design for my BlackBerry Playbook Tablet. I'm looking for a Professional looking portfolio where I have pockets for my BlackBerry hand held, a legal writing pad or a 7 inch writing pad, slots for ink pens and stylus pens. i would like it designed much like your current line for the iPads, but for the ...more »
